Facebook photo contest!
WHERE ARE YOU? WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE? YOU ARE HERE?
Straightforward questions? Not necessarily. In anticipation of the August 19th Toronto release of the 2010 Film Festival hit YOU ARE HERE (at the Bell Lightbox), Pacific Northwest Pictures, ZEROFUNCTION, and Scythia Films invite budding photographers (or pros, what the heck), rogue philosophers, urban cartographers, and meta-detectives to capture and submit their best photos encapsulating what YOU ARE HERE means to you.
Photos can be entered into the contest by either posting them on our Facebook page or emailing them to email@example.com.
Photos uploaded to Facebook should be no large than 500KB. Photos emailed can be up to 1MG.
Submissions will be received until 5pm on Wednesday, August 17th. All photos received will be reviewed by YOU ARE HERE writer/director Daniel Cockburn who will choose the photo he feels most uniquely and ingeniously embodies YOU ARE HERE.
The winner will receive a YOU ARE HERE prize pack including a pair of run-of-engagement tickets to see YOU ARE HERE at the Bell Lightbox, a YOU ARE HERE theatrical poster, and more amazing prizes will be announced in the coming weeks!
WIN PASSES TO THE OPENING NIGHT SCREENING OF YOU ARE HERE!!! Friday, August 19th, 7:00pm Bell Lightbox.
And join NOW Magazine senior film critic Norm Wilner for a post-screening Q&A with director Daniel Cockburn.
